These Terms of Service govern the use of Smart Invoice Downloader provided by:

2. Scope of Application

These terms apply to the purchase and use of the Smart Invoice Downloader desktop application. By purchasing and using the software, you agree to these terms.

3. License Agreement

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use the software on up to 3 devices that you own or control
  • Use the software for your legitimate business purposes
  • Download and manage invoices from Stripe accounts you own or have explicit permission to access

4. Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Use the software to access accounts without proper authorization
  • Use the software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

5. Pricing and Payment

  • The software is offered as a one-time purchase
  • Prices are subject to change for new purchases
  • Payment is processed through our authorized payment providers

6. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

According to § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB, the right of withdrawal expires upon delivery of digital content if you have expressly agreed that we begin with the execution of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period and you have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal by agreeing.

However, we offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the software, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

7. Updates and Support

  • Your purchase includes free software updates for one year
  • Email support is included for one year from purchase date
  • After one year, the software continues to function but updates and support require renewal
  • We reserve the right to discontinue support for older versions

8. Warranty and Liability

The software is provided according to German law. We provide the statutory warranty rights (Gewährleistung) as required by German law.

Our liability is limited as follows:

  • We are liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence
  • For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations
  • Liability for data loss is limited to typical recovery costs
  • The above limitations do not apply to liability for injury to life, body, or health

9. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. The software processes data locally on your device and does not transmit personal or business data to our servers.

10. Third-Party Services

The software integrates with Stripe's API. Your use of Stripe is governed by Stripe's terms of service. We are not affiliated with Stripe, Inc. and are not responsible for Stripe's services or availability.

11. Termination

Your license is perpetual unless terminated. We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the software and destroy all copies.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. The courts of Karlsruhe, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these terms, provided you are a merchant, legal entity under public law, or have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms for future purchases. The terms applicable to your purchase are those in effect at the time of purchase.
